Happy birthday nick and Denise!!! Well gonna post about nick's birthday celebration as i have promised. We met at pasir ris mrt at 2.30, and was only the 4th to reach even though i was about a 15 mins late. There were a total of 9 people who were gonna meet there so we waited till around 3.30 before leaving for dhoby gaut to start of nick's birthday celebration. First up we headed to play some LAN first. As i was a regular in many LAN outlets, i really knew about all the games and played all of them well. DOTA and CS being my forte. Owned many people with my dota talents by killing 0 and assisting 3. Pretty impressive eh?Haha, dunno what the heck i was doing whole game lah, just running around and killing creeps? Got the chance to finish off ryan and get my first ever kill in dota but ran away and got killed by him instead. Like i said, im one of the best in these kinda games. Not that good at CS as well, and seem to be losing my touch. Yep, thats around it for LAN. Soon after that, we went to meet wei bin before heading down to DPeak for our steamboat dinner. The price was good, 16.20 dollars for a buffet steamboat, and the food was satisfying and not bad, except for the guo tie. Really wanna thank the guy for ordering it and sharing the joy with us, and not allowing the other diners to taste the meat-filled dumplings. We ordered a bit too much and almost could not finish it. Luckily we managed to finish them after a few rounds of zong ji mi ma. Ryan, Raymond and Ryan were the top scorers of the game but zi jie was the overall winner and managed to clinch the top prize-A bite of a half-cooked meatball. Finished our dinner at around 10 plus. However we could not decide which means of transport that we should use to go home. So, there was gonna be a dance-off between ryan and ming swee. Ryan showed off some of his hip hop and wushu moves while ming swee danced from head to toe. Didnt really know who the ultimate winner was as both of them were real good. However it looked like ryan had won as we were heading towards the mrt station in no time. Well, i was the first to leave and board the mrt while the rest continued to discuss on what transport to take. Yea so that was how the day went. Pretty awesome birthday nick!!
Till nxt time!!

Phew this past two weeks had been a tiring yet fun one. Firstly there was the 4G bbq last sunday at my house. So, my whole family had spent most of the days before preparing for the big day. Luckily the whole event was quite pleasant and acceptable. There were around 20 classmates present plus mr poh who joined us much later for the bbq dinner. The food was quite delicious thanks to my mum and my maid for their utmost care in their preparation. Yep, we also managed to bond and find out more about certain classmates by playing table tennis, XBox and bbqing together. We also managed to find out about zi jie's secret crush on someone when Ming swee , ryan and raymond burst out saying that someone had a girlfriend and dropping many hints for us to grasp. If our prediction was correct it was zi jie who had one. It was really quite a tough guess as ming swee ryan and raymond really kept the secret really well and left only the smarter ones knowing who the person was. Well, yeah thats the main highlight of the day. Other then that, there were many pictures taken as memories of our friendship. Yep, lets move on, seems to have some dust particles in my eye right now though, wonder why.
Then there was prom night on 26th nov. Yeah! that one was a real blast man. I was already feeling the excitement when i woke up early in the morning at 12pm. Yep, real early. But seriously, i was very excited when i woke up. Didn't really feel like doing much stuff when i woke up, so i just wasted most of my time walking round my house, up and down or reading a book. At around 4.30 pm, i went to prepare. Bathed, styled my hair making it real cool.ROFL, yeah right. Then went to get changed into my proper attire. Well, i didn't really spent much time and money in preparing my clothes as i was just wearing the exact same thing i wore to my cousins wedding last year. I only bought a new red tie. Yea, so it was kinda hilarious to see the rest of my classmate fussing over what to wear and buy for prom while i could just sit back and relax. No offense to anyone. Left the house at around 5.15 pm and arrived at orchard hotel at 5.50pm. Quite a surprised to see most of my schoolmates were already there in their home clothes and not school attire, seemingly wanting to find a girlfriend. Well all i can say is that zi jie has really got some real slick tips to share. carrying on, we had to wait till 7pm before we were allowed to enter. The MC was funny and shared some good and some lame jokes with us. Then came the performances. The first band was okay and kinda got the whole night rolling. However the funny part was that shawn was not in their band. It was a bit wierd man as shawn was supposed to be in yan chins band. Well, anyway i din let that ruin my day so i just clapped along. Then the next perfomance was by MingRyaMond's band: the lao gaos. Their performance was one of the best of the night with them bringing us 3 songs, chan mali chan and make a wish among them. Then came the highlight of the night, Michael Jackson!! Well actually it was just my friend choon hwee, but his impersonation was so good that it looked like the real deal. However, to be honest, i was actually kindof worried that he would make a fool of himself on stage, but seeing him brimming with confidence before his big performance and knowing that he had already practised for ages, i just wished him good luck and that i would cheer for him. But i found out soon enough how good he actually was. He looked, moved, and danced exactly like the real michael jackson man!! well, there might also be one thing that i missed out. He might also have inherited michael jackson's mindset and character, yep and could very slightly also be a paedophile.Haha, sorry choon hwee, just joking!! Yeah, well his performance was the main highlight of the night and i sort of forgotten what was after that. Oh yah there was also shaawn's band, although i din know why he was on stage at that time, but he said the whole performance was a disaster. Well i felt that he and kevin did really well actually while the others were................ Yup, thats about all that i remembered although i still heard that the Mc made a damn bloody insulting remark on our schoolmate saying that he looked as if he was in a tuckshop. I mean what the hell?! Yeah, however overall the MC's performance was not bad apart from that fatal comment. So, at the end of the whole thing, many people went to dance, and i was not one of them while others like me went out and were immediately asked to take photos. Yep took many photos that night. After that, we went in againg and took more photos, and saw many of my sec 3 council friends who were there to help out. Really appreciate all of their help. Also will really miss Javier and gang and our soccering times together. At least i will be going back some times to play with them and also to teach Kelyn how to play. Ah, i will really miss all of the sec 4 and 3 schoolmates alot man, after knowing them these few years, its really very difficult to part. Oh yah, i will also be missing the sugar cane dessert at the hotel alot. Really appetising. But im still wondering how they managed to alter its taste till its so unlike a sugar canes.
Yeah well, thats the end of the night man. But thankfully i will be seeing most of the sports people which i have spent most of my four years with in the SPORTS CLASS CHALET in JANUARY!! Yeah, cant wait to see u guys again. Well thats all for now, will post about nick's birthday celebration some other time. Toodles!!

Alright, the O's are gonna end soon! Not really very excited though as i await the results. Hopefully i have done well and attain good enough results to enter the Jc that i want. At least i have given it my all and done my best, so i have no regrets. Now, even though there are still the mcqs left, im already in holiday mood and planning what i would be doing after the exams. Most probably it would be an all day under the sun 4G outing at Sentosa. While thinking about it, i just can't wait!!! Yeah, and theres also a soccer match where our team Kairos will be playing against my Primary school Friends team. Its gonna be real fun and could be the toughest opponents that we would be facing so far. Their best player would of course be my friend, whose name i Tim, as since primary school who was one of the few who could blast a soccer ball from 1 end of the parade square to another with such accuracy and power. This talent of his has undoubtly been one of the factors which made him Sji rugby teams vice captain. Well, starting to feel scared?? Hopefully not, course we will be needing many of ur supports to overcome this huge obstacle ahead of us. On top of that, we havent really been playing as a team for a long time and lacking in chemistry between the players. Furthermore, our team still hasn't come up with a potent partnership up front which could bang in the goals for us yet. One of our strikers is Jinglu. But with him playing, however, it would seem as if we were one man down and hence he would surely be waved away from the list of player selections. As for Kevin, his speed which would leave many defenders gaping is a much more natural right winger than a striker. However, we still have a last hope and that is MATTHEW MOHAN!!! Yeah, this is the real deal man. He is born with the looks, a burly body, muscular arms and a real knack for scoring goals so far for us, even with me not able to tell u his strike ratio. Indeed, he is a true talent. This coupled with his leadership skills and great positional sense that makes him much feared worldwide. So, we just have to find an able partner to play along side him and provide him with the services that he needs. Yeah, hopefully we can win this, with the help of all of you all's overwhelming support of course!!! Ta-ta.

Alright, theres only McQs blocking my way before the end of O's, doesn't really feel like its ending and still feeling kinda indifferent. But i still cant let my guard down just yet as this two papers could prove important in my 2 sciences getting A1 or not. But still im gonna do a quick post on the latest happenings in my life. The Lit paper ysterday was kind of hard and even Miss Koh said that it was quite bizarre of them to set such a tough paper given that it was the first time they were using off centre as the O' level text. However i still manage to scrape through the whole exams. After that we went to queensway as many people wanted buy new pairs of soccer boots. Well, we arrived there at what, 4.30?, and started entering shops and checking out the boots that they wanted. Finally, when everyone had decided what they wanted, we headed for another round of browsing in shops. By the time we finished buying and stuff, its was around 7.30 cause many shops did not have stock for the shoes that ming swee wanted. Finally we went to the first shop which had the one that min swee liked but with a different colour. Better then nothing, Ming Swee bought it. Upon stepping out of the stall, we found out that everyone had bought their boots from the same stall. It was kinda hilarious to think that we had walked two whole rounds and in the end, purchased the boots from the same stall and the first one that we had, in fact, entered. But wait, the best was yet to come. We decided on taking a direct bus home as we were all very tired and did not want the hassle of changing buses. This proved to be a real smart plan as the bus ride was like 1.5 hours long and it was real cold in it. That was the best ride ever man!!! Yeah so the bus ride was the most fun thing i had done in so many years. HEHE.Well gotta go study now. Gya and good luck to all in whatever u do!! God Bless.

Phew!!! Im up and posting again. Finally i finished reading To Kill A Mockingbird. Surprisingly its my first time finishing it and am regretting it. It wasn't as boring as i had expected it but quite interesting in fact. It made me learn quite a number of stuff and gave me a different view of things everytime i read certain parts over again. Now i just have to go through the notes before entrusting the examinations to the LORD. Hopefully i can do well and pray that i can get a B3 for it at least. This would be my last written examination with 2 more requiring shading coming up. Feeling quite sad thinking that secondary school years are ending soon and that i will have to move to a different environment for my further studies. However i will still remember my secondary school mates forever and hopefully still keep in touch with them. Well its almost one and i still gotta finish going through the notes. Night Guys!!

Yay!! O lvls are gonna be over soon. Just have to get through Core Literature and the 2 MCQs. I think i've been doing rather well so far and still aiming for my 11 points which can take me to SAJC.. SAJC here i come!! Anw, had some soccer today. Didn't perform as well as i had hoped to have. Made many misplaced passes and out of control dribbles. Hopefully i will be able to find back my form by the time we play against SJI. I feel like the lousiest soccer player among all my friends now man. Zi Jie doing all his Joga Bonito stuff really well and still improving a great deal. Hes really like a soccer God for Singapore's future man. Nick's defence is also brilliantly awesome. Always being in the right place at the right time and also timing his tackles well without the need for aggression at all. He's also got loads of stamina too!! Wei Bin, too, excelling in his new role as a centre-half with his natural aggression and strength. He also reads the game very well and can turn from defender to attacker in no time. Ben continued to show his undoubted quality today by controlling possession in almost every game for his team. This skill coupled with his ability to score from long range makes him a tough midfield general. Ming Swee too has remained consistent in his soccer performances. He was also the only one who was able to mark Nasri aka Boulahrouz and challenging possession with him. He also managed to score quite a few goals showing his goal scoring prowess. Ryan and Raymond also played really well even though they had not been playing soccer for ages. Raymond still held on to his defensive abilities and Ryan still showing glimpses of his wizardry in his dribbling with many deft touches and turns. There is also Cher Yong. His dribbling skills is still bloody crazy. Personally i also feel that he is also very talented in defence and would make a good attacking fullback. Jing Lu has also improved alot, the most in fact. Also known as Keane, he remains a potent and constant threat in front of goal and holds the ball up well and long enough to allow team mates to get into positions before unleashing a smart pass for them to score. He truly is a Robbie Keane in the making. Well that only leaves me. Haven't improved on any skills let alone polish them. I really hope that i am able to start conjuring up attacks like before and sending accurate and creative passes/crosses for team mates to score. Im also hoping that i am able to work on the accuracy of my rocket shot and improving its scoring percentage from 5% to around 50% if possible. Another to thing i would also like to work on is my ball control and juggling. Fitness is also another factor for my inconsistent and poor performances recently. The latest being the cramps i suffered at melville park. Yeah thats about it, feeling real lousy. Hopefully i don't disappoint everyone who has high expectations of me in soccer the next time i play. Well good night all!!!
