YAY!! Completed my first ever mid year GP paper exam in JC.. Cool eh? Well, overall it was quite okay, sort of new what i was going to write before i even wrote it. Managed to think of quite alot of examples which is like wow!! Just really glad thats its all over and can have the june holidays to catch up with my studies and to prepare for the mid years after that. Ironic right? to feel happy to be able to study during the june holidays. Well at least i can get the occasional breaks here and there now and i also just filled my holidays up with tuition classes, soccer, outings and trainings!! well ok thats it for now, off to study chinese, thanks for reading!!!

Just a quick post before i continue studying..
The last week has been quite a fruitful one as i started paying more lessons in tutorials and lectures, started thinking through on what the teachers have been saying and also starting to revise for mid years examinations. But most of all were the trainings!! They totally rock man as i got to understand more about table tennis and how to better use my chang jiao and la balls better now. Also coach trained me individually for the first time last wednesday, how cool is that. After that intense training session, i felt really drained showing the lack of fitness i have.haha. However the feeling of playing table tennis now is really good and almost equivilant to playing soccer. Not only does it give me a sense of satisfaction after every succesful consecutive la of the ball im also starting to want to be in the first team next year. So im really trying hard nowadays, more than usual, to break into the already good team. However due to all this trainings and studying, din really have much time to catch up with my Sec school friends and soccer. Really missing them now. And also missing the adrenaline rush of soccer, after every defense-splitting pass and dribble. Hope i get to do more of this things during the holidays, which is just a week away!! Ok thats all.. back to books...

Phew these have been a very hectic and busy few weeks. Firstly with the getting of many lecture test results, then the Volleyball Finals and also the Shaolin Balls. Well firstly let me talk about my results. As usual did very badly for most of them with the exception of the geog paper which we did like more then 8 weeks ago and hes only returning us now!! I really did not expect to get anything out of this paper let alone pass it. A miracle has really happened,praise be to GOD. Well i cant expect to be complacent and expect this kind of luck everytime so i have to cut of some slack and study hard from now on. With all the PW deadlines, homework, tests and holiday camps coming up, i would really have to spend my time extremely wisely jusst like saving money.
As for the volleyball finals, it was really very exciting, partly because it was my first time watching volleyball and the match had to be of world-class standard. The girls played brilliantly and totally thrashed VJC. They even managed to overcome a large deficit at the 3rd set to deny their opponents a single set win. However the boys were just not so lucky. Although i could see that they were using up more than 100 percent of their willpower and also putting what they learnt from training to good use, they still did no manage to overpower HCJC. It was stil a very good try though as the HCJC guys were far bigger and taller than our players. Still NYJC-ians all appreciate the effort that the guys have put in!!
And finally there was the Shaolin balls. Well actually shaolin balls is our team name for a futsal competition in our school. Although we did not manage to proceed to the finals, we sure had alot of fun and felt a sense of accomplishment. We started of quite rustily at first against TEAM PINK, losing to them 5-1. In that match, we just lacked chemistry between us with many passes going astray and mistakes being made by me especially. As for the second match against 0820, we trailed 3-0 at first but with nothing to lose, we started playing with more confidence and purpose. we managed to get 2 well deserved goals back and Elias, Andy and Linus were really unfortunate to not be able to score a few more to clinch a victory. And at the final game, which was the soccer captains team, it was one of the most amazing matches that i have seen. Although it was not really beautiful football, it was just stunning to see a group of us dominating the game. Linus clinched first blood for us with a wonderful passing goal all the way to the goal. Not before long, Elias score a sexy route one goal with a deft side footed finish. With that, the captains team started to get serious and after many attempts managed to equalise. In the end it finished off as a 2 all draw. If not for the hardworking capabilities of Elias who ran around the whole game to deny the captain shooting chances, Andy's stunning defensive display, Linus' constant harrying of defenders , Michelles holding up of the ball for us and Esthers support from the stands, we might just have humiliated ourselves.Instead we did the impossible and knocked their team out of the next round. wooo it was fun man.

OH YEAH!! Chelsea destroyed Arsenal 4-1!! It was a totally fantastic performance by chelsea in the first half although there were many close scares coming from arsenals Walcott. Still they managed to clinch a comfortable win and performance over arsenal to go close in securing third plaing. However, i feel kinda sad for arsenal though, especially Walcott and Toure. Walcott, being so young and all but still having to carry the burden of being one of englands bright prospects. So him missing so many glorious chances would surely send his confidence why down to his toes. i just hope that he can manage and lift his morale or england would be losing one for their future. As for toure, reall sad for him as he score an own goal. What's more, he was still one of the better performers before that fatal mistake deproved his pperformance drastically. Yep just feel really bad but happy at the same time. Ok thats all, still needa do my zuo wen.
