Kaieros thumps sec 4's 6 nil

Yes thats right, the classic is over!!! With Kaieros thrashing the sec 4's in a highly entertaining match at Safra stadium. The Kaieros players who were wearing their jerseys for the first time played one of their best ever matches together. Let me share some highlights with you:

1) Kaieros increases their tempo right at the start of the game. After some good passing movement by the team, Ben spotted the timed run by Yu Xun and made a brilliant true pass to him. However, Yu Xun just could not manage to shoot pass the rushing Zhou Yang. Well played between the two players though and this is just the start.

2) Matthew managed to get the ball near the edge of the penalty area. After weaving his way to the sideline and fooling past a couple of defenders, he crossed a low ball into the penalty area. But there was no one there!! Just a little too far for me to reach.Good ball but poor chemistry.

3) Once again, Matthew managed to get the ball near the sidelines giving everyone a sense of deja vu as he feinted past yet another 2 players before sending a similar cross as before. This time, after learning from my previous mistake, i charged into the far post even before the pass was made and made it just in time to tap in the cross easily. Brilliant play by Matt.(for the first time)

4)I recieved the ball near the left wing but slightly miscontrolled it and allowed the ball to bounce too far. However, i managed to send a through ball to Teng Rui. But the cross was kinda mistimed. But at least it showed the increasing chemistry between the two left sided players.

5) Chi Min continued to threaten our whole team with his Breakneck speed, powerful stamina and individual brilliance however he just could not find the end product.

6)Kaieros continued to threaten from the left wing and middle and dominating most of the possesion but still found it very hard to clinch the second goal.

7)Just before the break, i sent a pass to Cher Yong who managed to get past one midfielder before sending a through ball for Matt to chase it long. Even though Matt managed to get to the ball in time, the ever brilliant Zhou Yang saved it from Matt's feet but just could not grasp hold of the ball. The ball fell to the feet of the charging Zi Jie. After a bit of scrambling in the box, ZJ managed to break loose and send a delightfully weighted ball in to the net, past all the defenders and goalkeeper. 2 nil at half time!!

Its one more day to the big day for us Kaieros players. Everyone seems to be starting to feel really excited now as we are all expecting to get nothing but victory from this game. However, just my luck, i had to sprain my leg while tennising yesterday. Luckily it wasnt that serious and could run around again after a whil, but still unable to reach my max speed. Also unable to cushion the ball properly with my right leg yet as there will always be a sharp sting of pain whenever the ball touches it.Argh, hope i recover by tomorrow. However, there was more to come, my specs and face being the victims this time. Got whacked straight in the face by a ball while trying to make a save. The proverb huo bu dan xing seems to be true i guess. Well cant wait for tml liao..Cya there!!!

Once again, we have come to another day where the 2 titans clash. Yes it's the much anticipated match of Kaieros vs the sec 4's aka chihuahua's aka kids. This match continues to hold much promise into being yet another tremendous encounter between the two sides with no love lost since their last meeting. This fixture between the 2 fierce rivals has always been high scoring with many goal mouth action as well as crunching tackles and player blunders. Although the neutrals favourite to win the match would, of course, be kaieros to win, but few can take the sec 4's lightly after their continuous wins against cage, a team that kaieros has yet to beat(soon though). The top scorer for kaieros is of course the prolific midfield ace Zi Jie AKA ace, leader of the group. With his mazy runs from midfield and good chemistry between his teammates, coupled with his prowess from set piece situations, he is one that will cause shivers and shudders down anybody who is facing him, a complete player indeed. However no matter how talented a player is, there would always be a critic who finds fault in him. One such source tells us that he is way too selfish and could do well to pass more often instead of letting fly himself. Since the critic is from a high position in football, we can only agree with him.

Another player that is vital to the Kaieros side would be the right back Nick Liew. He is considered as the best right back of all time by many in AHS and soon the world. Not only has he got bags of stamina, his natural brilliance in timing his tackles has allowed him to recieve many plaudits. He also does not depend on strength to win him tackles unlike many other defender's but on his witty brain. As he is also a maths genius, he is able to calculate the exact and perfect timing to disposess his opponents. BUT, there is still a flaw from his play. The same source tells us that nick is way to inconsistent. This comment is well received by the team as nick's performances has been really irregular with him really not being able to mark and frustrate his opponents. The biggest fan of the comment would be nick's teammate zi jie who has always been the main critic for nick. However due to some circumstances such as nick losing his wallet, nick might not be able to play in the match on friday. Some might say that his parents are too extreme or some might say that he deserves it all right. But, everyone still hopes for one thing and that is he will be available for the match.

And then there is also Jing Lu, widely considered as the most improved player, with the exception of nick. He only started learning soccer as an unknown in secondary 3 but after 2 years of practice and sheer determination, look what he has become. Also known as Keane,and one touch striker, jing lu has recieved much compliments by all.However, he is still unable to impress the main critic. This time the critic has gone all the way saying that with him in the field, we are at a real disadvantage and its like a man down. It may seem harsh to all, but it is no doubt the truth coming from the wise man.

Lastly, widely known as the dark knight and also the only true person capable of donning the number 9 jersey, we have MATTHEW MOHAN!!!!!!!!!! With his brilliant accuracy and shooting power on field soccer, together with his leadership qualities, it is no wonder he holds the utmost importance and highest position in the team.Not only that, he has proven to be a real natural on the field as he has already started his goal tally since his first match for the team. Even though he is not the captain, he still leads the team by example on and off the pitch. This is helped by his charisma and seductive smile, of course.

Well, after saying so much, all i wanna say is that we need everyone if you to support us at 3 at safra tampines this friday afternoon. As for the players, for those who have not replied if you were going yet, please msg me asap after u read this blog. thx loads. Cya friday!!!

Hey sup dudes. Not gonna post about the 2nd half of the sec 3's match just yet, maybe next time though.
well this past few weeks has been quite a hectic one for me, filled with both joy and sorrows. Firstly there was the sports class chalet which was really great!! Many thanks to Ci Hui, Liang Kai and also Ming Swee for booking the whole place and organising the whole event. well, there were also others who did loads in making the chalet a succesful one too. So, thanks to all of you!! Just to share what we did at the chalet, especially the more fun ones like playing one touch soccer outide the place in the wee hours of the night, the street soccer with the SAJC dudes, card games and the bbq. Oh yah ming swee, ryan and raymond also came up with a real cool game which drew alot of laughter. Yeah those were the good old days. Oh yah, i think i left my jeans at the chAlet as well. if anyone had seen it last can u tell me?? thanks alot.

Then there was the results day which i dont wanna talk about.

After that i went for a couple of soccer trials with various schools which i came through all succesful. Everyone seemed to be wanting me to sign for them.
