OK this is definitely it, what all of you guys out there have been waiting for( ok i doubt it), the one and only, LAST POST FOR NOW TILL AFTER PROMOS!!! Ok seriously, promos are just around the corner, only a few feet away from me now. My head has only been filled with "PROMOS PROMOS PROMOS" this few days and " NOT RETAINING NOT RETAINING NOT RETAINING". I will definitely NOT!! motivated motivated motivated. This is it, its now or never, 1h1 and 2 h2s is all i need and its goodbye j1 and hello j2!! YEA seems easy but its not. BUT so what?? I CAN DO IT!! WE CAN DO IT!! 0903!! sports class!! PROMOTION!!
Theres only 1 motivation for me now, yes, CHALET!! ENJOY THEN, STUDY NOW!!

Past 2 weeks or so have been quite fruitful, either nighting or studying with the study trio or else attending tuition. I think i could have been alot more fruitful if i had a longer concentration span or if i was smarter, oh well. Anyway past two sundays, apart from going to church, there were 2 FraterniteFC matches. Having not played for them for like a few years, we finally got our chance after our captain came back to singapore for a few weeks. As usual, the teams we were up against would leave any soccer fans drooling. Firstly there was the NJC soccer team for the first sunday and Honda FC, which consisted of over 22 players for the next.

Against the NJC team, i was full of confidence before the match cause of the huge amounts of practice i had put in as playing striker on saturday games with Kaieros players. Yea and this is coupled by the fact that im having a 3 goals in two games record. So brimming with confidence, we started of the game. However from what any neutrals can see( if they had been watching the match), they would think that i did not know how to play soccer as i was practically the worse player for the whole game. With many misplaced passes, miscontrolled balls and poor shooting, it was a wonder how i was able to keep my place in the starting lineup for the whole match. The most glaring mistake would be that of me missing a shocking open goal.Would u believe that?!?! It all came from a high backpass to the opponents keeper who mistimed his punt, which allowed the ball to bounce past him. And the onrushing me could not even properly recieve the ball with my chest and the chance was wasted. Also, i was practically flying around the whole match, not because i was a fast sprinter but because of how i weak i was compared to the opponents. Everytime a had the ball, one barge and i would be sent flying 10m away. Oh and my defending was atrociously bad too, and at least 2 of the goals that the team conceded was really partly my fault. Even though a goal a scored was ruled out, my overall rating was still LOW. Yea so that was practically the worse match i had ever played. It sent my confidence to an all time low after that and really showed me that i was not as good as i thought i was. Final score NJC4-0 FraterniteFC

As for Honda FC, due to the errors that i commited in the previous match, i felt really inferior and apologetic to all my teammates. However the team were really encouraging and just told me to continue to do what i do best. So i continued in my lone striking role and supported by the wingers. In the first half, did not make much of an impact as i was only starting to warm up and getting the feel of the ball as well as timing the runs. Although we went to nil down early in the first half, the never say die spirit in-built within all FFC players started working within us, with the defenders holding out well and denying the opponents chances by closing down quickly and efficiently. The only 2 notable contributions i made in the first half would be that of a deflected cross which found no one and a shot from a corner which resulted in an easy tap in for our team. GOAL 2-1 half time.

At the second half, things started to get heated up a bit, with my fouls and time wasting being commited. However it was because of one of these fouls that resulted for our equalising goal. From a dead ball situation near the half way line, out captain Wilkie, whipped in a delicate but yet deft chip-shot, which fooled practically everyone, even teammates, and sailed into the top corner of the net. GOAL!! 2-2. With new found confidence, even the opponents increasingly viscious play were not able to overwhelm us. Chances were continually created but were mostly spurned before we got to the penalty box, me being the main culprit with yet more misplaced and mistimed passes. However, from a quick counter attack, a through pass to Yu Shao who returned the ball to me sent me free towards goal. With the defenders all caught off guard and appealing for offside, this gave me a chance. Before shooting, my mind was a total blank and my heart seemed to want to burst out as nervousness crept all around me. Luckily i managed to shoot pass the keeper's outstretched hands to score the winner! Phew finally i ended my 1 match goal drought. Well and that was almost it. What a comeback!!

Been going back to school alot lately, not just to play and chat but to study as well. However i think im only seriously starting to really mug only today. Finished econs unemployment and economic growth notes as well as econs essay 8b today. Also, i got my proposal done!! Phew!! It was also partly thanks to ESSSSSSSSSSSSSSTHER and ZuoYi who spurred me on to complete my econs homework by continuously reminding me the time whenever i got distracted. "3 o'clock ah!!" they would say.

However it was not a work and no play for today. At around 5 o'clock, at the closure of the library, we went down for some games time!! Yeah today was supposed to be volleyball and i think we played for around half an hour. I think my hands are starting to adapt to the hitting of the ball as it was not as pain before. However im still quite bad at it as i cant even aim properly and my setting is still really really bad. Well so i had to make up for that with running!! All in all it was still a very fun experience for me. After that, we also played abit of basketball, soccer and Table tennis with the ball. It was both fun and hilarious at the same time. It was only at 6.20 where we went for our dinner at happy duck!

After dinner it was back to hitting the books for all of us, with me completing my economic growth notes. Yea it was really very fruitful today and hopefully it will remain like this without my attention span decreasing.

The september holidays seem to be moving very quickly. OH NO!! Im lagging behind like crazy and i dont think i will be able to finish studying and revising at this rate. The holidays started off with math lecture on monday which was kinda ok as the time passed by quite fast then. After the lecture, i managed to finish my vectors tutorial 10A and started on 1oB..WOOOO!!! Also, some of us managed to play some tennis as well. The session was awesome and hilarious at the same time. It was fun all the same. =)

As for today, we had math tutorial. Ms Liang brightened up the whole class by buying oreo and mentos for us which kept most of us wide awake and at full attention during the whole tutorial. XIE XIE!! Then, ran off to macs with Andy,ZuoYi, Esther,Elias,Lance and some others to buy our lunch home to eat. The studying cum Pw cum table tennis session at my house was kinda fruitful as i managed to do some math, finished the wr as well as play table tennis. Everyone was really really very good in table tennis and i guess all of us had alot of fun too?? haha.. Yeah. And we also had some chit chatting session before the rest headed for home. Yeah so thats how the holidays have been so far. Seriously hope i can really start my full throttle studying soon!!

Whee the much awaited holidays are here!! But sadly,i think this would be the worst september holidays for me, EVER!! Just thinking about it makes me stressed and sick. Cause with every passing day now, comes a day closer to the promotional exams. I really think that im going to retain this year. Oh man. Also, many of my classmates, both former and current nes are feeling really low now just thinking bout the examination. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! For those who have always been doing well, aim for honour roll or top of cohort!! As for those who aren't doing as well, just study hard from now on and you will definitely make it!!

Anyway spent my first day of holidays today doing alot of things. Firstly, participated in my Dad's banks family day, and spent the day cycling at ECP. It was quite enjoyable as its been a while since i last rode a bicycle. After that i rushed for my Math tuition class. As the teacher was revising on vectors, i gained alot of knowledge today as im very blur about vectors still. Hopefully after this fruitfull session, i am able to at least move on to some more challenging questions. Then after that, rushed for the Horseshoe crab S-L trip at Kranji. Thank GOD i made it there in time. Well the trip was quite enjoyable and i learnt alot from it. Picked up ALOT of rubbish at the muddy area and i also managed to catch a glimpse of a real life horseshoe crab in action!! Marvelous creatures they are. yea, so basically the whole trip was awesome, but the only low point being me having to throw my shoes and socks away due to the mud stuck to them. Well at least what came after that cheered me up a bit. we went for dinner at causeway point and once again i was unable to finish my food. ZZZZZ. Then went to timezone with the guys where they played many games. Actually i had not intended to play any games, but after seeing countless people and Esther and Zuo Yi enjoying and screaming inside a motion simulator ride, me and Linus decided to go for a "spin" as well. And after countless wooooo's and AAAAAAAHHH's, the ride ended. But i didn't know why my eye hurt after the ride, must have been the dust from the air vent inside the simulator. Well, but all in all, it was very enjoyable.
