Back for more posting. Had quite alot of fun last week with all the christmas celebrations with my relatives and also the church. But the most exciting event was the Kaieros vs sec 3's match yesterday. It was really thrilling for the players as well as for the spectators, with the match filled with many brilliant movements and occasional blunders of a classical football match. Let me give you a short summary of the match:

1)We started off by warming up in the first 15 mins with long shots and set pieces from both corner and free kick positions. Too bad we didn't score from any set pieces during the match.I know why as well because my corners really sucked that day.

2) Soon it was kick off with Tim, the ref, blowing the whistle. We started off quite well as we started off by attacking straight away.

3) From a throw in, Ben our attacking midfielder, threw a brilliant through long throw for me to chase. At first i really thought i wouldn't make it to the ball before at went past the opponents touchline. However; luckily i did and sent a cross for the rampaging matt into the box. However his snapshot was blocked brilliantly by the keeper from point blank range. Nope, it wasn't over just yet with Zi jie charging into the box and thumping in the rebound.1-0 ffor kaieros.Zi jie has scored in every game so far for kaieros. Nice one ZJ. Too bad matt's finishing is still better than yours lol.

4) A nice pass which sent matthew through into the penalty box. But due to pressure, Matt was forced to run towards the corner flag. It seemed as if there was no way to gofor him and the chance was lost. However, due to his strong determination, he managed to dodge and weave past 2 defenders before making a pass to Ming Swee. Then he sent a wonderfully weighted low cross into the box which went past every defender but just perfect for me to lift it past their keeper, Zhou Yang. Phew, finally a burden off my shoulders as it was my first goal from open play. Thnks Ming Swee!!After my goal, i asked for a substitution and Yi Cheng went in to make his debut.

5) Cant really remember what went on during the match when i came off as i constantly drank water due to a sore throat. But i do know that fu seng came and went on!!

6) when i came back on for Yi Cheng again on the left midfield role, i saw Ben's long range effort hit the outside of the cross bar. Really Unlucky.

7) Than the worst moment of the match for me came. I called for the ball from ben who sent yet another wonderful ball for me to chase. As i didn't know that i was that close to goal, i sent a cut in cross to matt who shot it straight to the keeper and bounced away for a corner. The others kept telling me that i should have shot it on my own instead of passing it. Well that was the worst moment as if i had scored the outcome of the game would have been different.

8)Just a while before half time, I managed to get the ball again. This time i had many options to pass to. I spotted fu seng sprinting down the other wing. Without thinking, i crossed a long ball to him. The feeling was really great for me to see my long ball reach exactly fu seng's chest. That really gave me confidence afterwards. Well, continuing, 2 of the defenders tried tackling it from fu seng and one of them, under pressure, kicked it towards his own post. The ball fell for matt who couldn't put the ball into the net. But according to him, it had hit his balls.

Well then it was half time.

Long time since i posted already, so just gonna post a short one now to summarise what i have been doing the past month.Well i went to japan for my holidays this month on the 13th. It was quite fun and i managed to see snow for the first time!!! However, despite it being fun and all, i was quite disappointed with the food though as we ate seafood steamboat most of the time. Its not as if we are not able to eat all that in singapore. Where are all the sashimi, tempura and ice creams. All we got in replacement for these were vegetables, vegetables and jelly?? Yeah, so thats the only bad point about the tour. Apart from that it was awesome. Oh yah the prices for stuff was crazy as well. We had this snow mobile ride which costs 160+ singapore dollars for 1 person, and its only for an hour!! Although it was quite fun and exciting as i fell off it, but the price was still quite unreasonable. The food and products were also highly overpriced. I remember that there was this kobe beef that i ate which costs 9000yen for 200grams. Thats like more than a hundred singapore dollars!! Well, i cant deny that it was delicious and it is known worldwide, but surely there has to be a limit for how they price items?? 100+ dollars for a meat the width of a cd cover and the length of 2 cds. Its like what the hell. Yeah thats around it for the tour and i would recommmend you all to go to japan if u have the chance!!!
Oh yah, due to me having to go to japan, i had to miss the match between the sec 3s. Damn, i was so looking forward to that. But at least the team still managed to thrash them 5-2. Nice one zi jie, matt and ben with the goals!! Now im feeling kinda sad cause i cant see myself in the team anymore after their thrashing. Maybe i can just be in the subs??
