Hmm.. while relaxing, i managed to catch a glimpse of young soccer talents from youtube. So i have decided to compile a list of my young players XI.Young players meaning under 25. Enjoy.. Well firstly for the goalkeeper, it would be none other then Manuel Neuer from Schalke 04. At the age of 24 he has already become a main player for his team as well as a potential German National team keeper in the near future. Not only does he have the looks of a Star, he has natural reflexes and reations as well. This can especially be seen during the match against Porto in the champions league where he continually denied the porto team to singlehandedly keep his team in the game. For me, i feel that he can be the best in the world in the future. Heres a shot clip of him on how he managed to save schalke from champions league elimination all by himself in just one game.
As for my left-back, it would be Arsenal's Gael Clichy. Yeah, although he is still a young player and all, he is already a proven left-back for both Arsenal at left-back and France. His best asset would be his burst of speed which has left many players eating his dust, dribbling and well-timed tackles. Anyone who has all these assets are rare to come by hence explaining my choice. Heres a short clip of him.
Next would be the right-back. For that i have chosen Sergio Ramos. Not only is he versatile and able to play in any defensive position, he also has a scorers and attackers instinct which has enabled him to score many goals in his glittering career so far.He is also comfortable in beating attackers and going past them even in dire situations. It is no wonder Real signed him for 27million euros with spain also calling him into the National squad. For a person so skilled, it is a surprise that he is only 23.
As for many centre-backs, they would be the italian Giorgio Chiellini and the Englishman Micah Richards. The latter because he is both physically strong and quick in dealing tough oppositions. He is also able to convert into a right back if needed too. Although he has hit an all time low of form recently, i still regard him as one of the best in defence. As for Giorgio, he is similar to Richards as he too can be converted into a fullback, for his case the left. He has good positional sense and has a brilliant mind in reading the game. For me, i feel that he could eclipse His former teammate and captain, Fabio Cannavaro into being the best defender around as he is a much better dribbler, faster and still improving. Hence with these two in the heart of defence, keeping clean sheets in almost all the games would be common.
Now for the midfielders. For my defensive midfielder and controller of my engine room, i have chosen Javier Mascherano or also known as El Jeficito which means the little chief, the Liverpool player and captain of Argentina's National team. I dont have much to say about him actually just that he is one of the most complete footballers around in terms of skill. He is a brilliant tackler of the ball, no doubt hard but also very fair, reads the game well leading to interceptions, hard hitter of the ball and also a great passer. However, he still has alot to improve on his temperament as he is always quick to argue and retaliate as can be seen on the heated match against Manchester United where he was sent off. However, aside from this, he is still a sensational player, one everyone would like to have in his team.
As for my wingers, i chose David Silva and Ashley Young. Both these players are able to play on either wings allowing them to switch flanks with each other seamlessly. Both these players are good dribblers of the ball as well as accurate crossers. Hence they will be able to deliver telling crosses and good deliveries for my strikers to score. belows a clip on the winger- David Silva
Sebastien Giovinco would then be my choice in Attacking midfield and playmaker of the team. Although he is an amazing dribbler of the ball, he is very unselfish and prefers to assist rather then go for glory by himself. Also, he is only 1.64m in height making him one of the smallest in professional football and easily ousted and shoved by the rest. However, he does not let his size stop him from playing the game but instead doing mazy runs around the bigger players and assisting for others to score. With that, although he may be the smallest in my team, he plays the most crucial role in helping the attackers and providing them with chances.
Now for the final 2 strikers. Fernando Torres and Sergio Aguero. Both played for Atheletico Madrid and hence would have some understanding between them. Furthermore, Torres can play as a main striker while Aguero plays as a second striker. Not only that, both are speedy and good attackers of the ball, no matter with their head or feet. Sergio Aguero
Fernando Torres
Well thats it. Your opinions may be different from mine or i may have forgotton some players as well as not known others. But nvm. Hope u enjoyed the videos anyway.
